Prefabricated Addition
An addition to an existing 1960’s dwelling. The building arrived as a transportable modular dwelling that was trucked to site. Containing two bedrooms a bathroom and a study, the box was craned onto the roof of the existing building, and the owners moved in later that week.
The existing dwelling underwent extensive renovation including new kitchen, bathrooms and a new media room. The pool and landscape were part of the scope of work combined with the modular box to create a beautiful and well balanced contemporary home.
This project was undertaken by JCY Architects and Urban Designers. Lee was the project architect on this job during her time at JCY.
